Team from "Patuxent Pump & Well" has started the installation of our geothermal heating/cooling system. Five 200 ft deep wells will be drilled between house and river. Trench was dug to hold the water that is required during drill process. The water is sucked into the drill to lubricate the drill. Team attaches ~20 ft drill pipe extensions about every 10 minutes to reach the 200 ft depth. Drilling process for the five wells will take 2 days.
