Wall-ed up !

Jesse's 5-man dry-wall team arrived at 0730 this morning, worked till 1930, and the house was 'hung'. Guys went thru alot of water as the high temp today was 98 deg!

Dry wall delivered on Friday afternoon. Team will install on Sunday.

Garage stairs & more bricks

Garage staircase was installed last Thursday, now we have another place to go for more nice waterfront views. Walter (masonry artist) also returned and has started to lay the 'bull nose' bricks near the entry door, Sam-the-Cat approves. Steve & I went down to the Chesapeake Bay Field Lab in Piney Point, saw the "Dee of St. Mary's" a beautiful skipjack, out of water for repairs.

4th of July

Happy Birthday America !, Celebrating the 4th in Tall Timbers with sunshine, boating & swimming in the river. Entire block is filled with cars of family & visitors at nearly every house, packed! Photo's show; "knee-high by 4th of July" (but in Maryland you need to add about 6 feet!), Steve standing where the 5 wells (see blue flags) will be drilled for our Geo-Thermal system, new "Puron" refrigerant system installed in the crawl space (will provide heating/cooling for 2nd floor), and some pix of our new tub, it's a big one ! Happy 4th to all !!!
